Warthog Financials is a simple program for people who want to keep track of income and spending. The developer has been using this one page system for over 25 years for various types of businesses that he has started. As unconventional as it seems, it really works and, adjustments and changes are easily made. The intent is not to replace accountants or sophisticated systems but provide an at-a-glance of your day to day financials to analyses and be able to present to others as needed. This system is also great for providing expense reports, tax information or setting up corporate, personal, and department budgets.

This system has only four screens and as you can see, it is going to be simple to use.

Once you register you will receive a verification e-mail where you see payment options. This allows you to get started using it before paying, and if for some reason you don’t like it – just ignore the verification e-mail and your account will self-destruct.
To get started, click on the New User button which takes you to the registration page. Just fill in the minimal fields. E-Mail is most important so we can keep you informed on modular updates such as:

1) accruals, 2) checks 3) payroll 4) invoicing/purchase orders, 5) customer/vendor data, 6) accounts receivable & payable, 7) inventory options.

The added functions will also be ONE PAGE systems tied into your Main One Page.

On the far left there are three colored sets of columns and rows.
Green is Income.
Red is COS Cost of Sale (an expense that only occurs if needed to incur income above).
Orange is Operating Expense (an expense that occurs to keep the business running even if there is no income).
First Column: Put your general income category(s) in each of the eight rows. If you have more than eight, be more general and use the SUB ACCOUNT in the faded yellow area.
Second Column: Enter the amount ($ sign is automatic)
The solid colored columns fill in automatically as you go.

The rest are obvious administrative tasks and navigational buttons. Purple is for RECONCILING, which will be explained later in detailed instructions. Light Blue is the all-important CASH FLOW, which has the auto entries in solid color and optional non-operating income and outgo obviously stated for you to fill in when appropriate. Gray is the BALANCE SHEET, which indicates your Net Worth/Equity. The open white fields, if on a cash basis, are manual entries for reference and if on an accrual basis will be auto entry.

The Yellow box is for record keeping info. The Date, Month and Transaction Number are automatic HOWEVER the date can be changed. Check No is obvious. Sub Account was explained earlier. The cleared Stat is for you to check if you reconcile with your Bank Statement and the Cleared Web if you reconcile off your Bank’s Web Page. The Audit 1, 2 and 3 are for additional tracking and auditing a variety of situations on the Drilldown Page:
